Rulmenți S.A. had the honor of hosting Mr. Ambrizie Irineu Darau, Minister of Digital Economy, Entrepreneurship and Tourism, for an official visit. The visit included a tour of our production facilities and discussions on our ongoing development projects.

Also present were MP Mihai Botez and the Prefect of Vaslui County, Mr. Andrei Șerban — reflecting strong shared interest from both central and local authorities in the region’s industrial development.

Discussions focused on current collaboration opportunities — with public authorities and other economic operators alike — to identify projects and funding schemes for expanding our production capacity for bearings and specialized components. Rulmenți S.A. is currently implementing, and aims to further develop, projects for product and technology certification tailored to specific technical requirements.

The visit also addressed Romania’s broader national strategic projects for retechnologization and reindustrialization of key sectors — steel, rail transport, and defense — industries where precision components like bearings play an essential technical role.
